Note on Husband: Albert YOUNG

The Young family features prominently in the history of East Chinnock. Coming originally from Manor Farm, Hardington, they acquired, through the Portman Estate - Barrows Farm, Barrows Dairy Farm and Court Farm. Robert lived at Barrows Farm and Albert at Court Farm. He then moved to "The Laurels", now altered and known as "Courthayes". Len George was the tenant of Barrows Dairy Farm. Their story is best told in the carefully preserved photographs shown & lent by Lorna Booth (nee Young).
